Louise has been working in the field of mental health in Sydney for 27 years. She has a diverse clinical background working with individual and group psychotherapy modalities. Clinical areas of expertise are Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Relationships, Chemical Dependency, PTSD and Post Natal Depression.

 Drawing from both traditional and contemporary modalities of psychotherapy, and body – mind disciplines, Louise facilitates and enhances each client potential for human change. Somatic Psychotherapy uses awareness of self and other, body and mind as the primary tools of healing. Louise seeks to empower people by helping them become aware of the relationship between their physical body, their emotions and thoughts.

With a strong belief in resilience and innate desire for growth, Louise meets each client with empathy, compassion and professional integrity.

Therapeutic benefits

A broad range of client issues are addressed in therapy: personal development, curiosity, meaninglessness, anxiety, relationship difficulties, emotional instability, grief and loss, recovery from trauma and/or abuse, despair, spiritual issues and overcoming addictions as well as uncomfortable physical symptoms which often have an underlying emotional or stress related cause. These client issues can be processed short and long term.

Qualifications: RGN, RMW, RPN, Ba PSYCH, Dip. SOMATIC PSYCHOTHERAPY, M (App) PSYCHOTHERAPY.
