Heidi Ch'ng

Being human is not easy. Especially when we are all living in the fast-paced, hustle culture of the present day. Heidi is a sensitive, warm and highly empathic psychologist. She provides a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients to understand, process and make sense of their own lived experiences. Heidi works to build a collaborative relationship with her clients and to empower them to make choices that support the life that they want for themselves.

In consideration of the individuality of each client Heidi draws on a range of therapeutic approaches.  These include Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Mindfulness, Arts Therapies and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to suit the needs of each client.

In her work Heidi has a strong passion for supporting women of all ages, and at different life stages. Heidi also has a PhD in Developmental Psychology and therefore brings knowledge and insight into the vastness of our human experience from this perspective. In addition her work is informed by attachment theory and neurobiology.
